2 февраля ходил на место проведения соревнований. Снега много. Было лавиноопасно после снегопада в четверг-пятницу. Надеемся, что снег слежится и прихватится.
Условия соревнований пока не даем, т.к. погода нестабильная. В общем, кто бывалый - тот знает.
Ориентироваться на прошлогодние и позапрошлогодние. Перечень этапов тот же.
Окончательный вариант условий - в день заезда.
Заведующий турбазой предупредил, что проживание может подорожать на 10 грн., т.к. им уголь пришлось докупать по новой цене.
Увы, "овёс нынче дорог".

Увы, стоимость ночи в отапливаемых домиках увеличилась до 35 грн.

В субботу в кулуаре было около метра снега (с трудом пробились с начальником дистанции), температура чуть ниже нуля. Лавинка сошла где-то в среду-четверг, уже замело новым снегом. На террасе снега около 40-50 см. На скалах дистанции спасработ снега по-пояс, так что растсять до 1 марта не успеет однозначно. На турбазе, внизу - весна. Для экономных - неотапливаемые домики.

А что касается "в последний раз" - так кто ж вам доктор, Андрей? Севастопольцы выставляли обычно на соревнования 2-3 команды, а сейчас приехало 6 человек, из которых 3 судей (спасибо им!). Популярными становятся марафоны, где участвовать могут кто угодно, где не надо готовить команду, играть по правилам. (Это с о слов самих участников марафонов). Вполне допускаю, что соревнования по спортивному туризму отживают своё, хотя опыт говорит, что интерес к ним есть. Однако соревнований стало слишком много, а их потенциальных участников маловато.

Я не могу ответить офицально от лица Севастопольксого клуба туристов - я даже не член клуба. Но насколько мне известно, клуб недавно пережил переезд в новое здание, провел реформу оплаты членских взносов - словом чуть не подох... в общем много из-за чего у Гены болела голова в последнее время. Вот и итог - "не 2-3 команды, а 6 человек".

Скорее, из-за недостаточного количества сложных походов, требующих хорошей технической подготовки (возможно, это просто следствие). Альпинизм, мультиспорт, горный и пешеходный туризм, похоже, сливаются в один вид - некие снежно-скально-ледовые побегушки по рельефу. Это, в свою очередь, объективный и закономерный итог развития рыночных отношений и философии индивидуализма. Хорошо это или плохо, но мир меняется.

Те, кто не готовится, сходят в первую же ночь. Люди. выигрывающие серьезные гонки, являются спортсменами высокого уровня. Не думаю, что популярность марафонов определяется исключительно низким порогом вхождения.

Тем не менее, на соревнованиях было интересно. Жаль только работу организаторов и судей: сил было потрачено много, а воспользовались этим всего четыре команды. Спасибо за соревнования, очень хотелось бы, чтобы они состоялись и в следующем году.
